Telegram Email Notifications Guide

This document provides instructions on setting up Telegram notifications for receiving alerts about new emails in your mailboxes.

Telegram Bot Setup

  1. Create a Telegram Bot:

    • If you don't have a Telegram Bot already, create one by messaging @BotFather on Telegram.
    • Follow the prompts to create a new bot and note down the Bot Token provided.

  2. Telegram Chat ID:

    • Find out your Telegram Chat ID by messaging @userinfobot and it will provide you with your Telegram Chat ID.

Integration with Email Notifications

  1. Configure Bot Token and Chat ID:

    • Replace the placeholder Bot Token and Chat ID in your email notification system with the actual ones you obtained in the previous steps.

  2. Testing:

    • Send a test email to your configured mailbox to verify that notifications are properly sent to your Telegram.

Security Note:

   Ensure to keep your Bot Token and Chat ID confidential. Do not share them with unauthorized parties to prevent misuse.
